The assistant cook assists in kitchen and meal preparation for an average of 100 persons using dietary requirements and regulations for an inmate population while working with and, at times, supervising inmate kitchen staff.  

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:  

• Kitchen and cook experience.  Industrial kitchen experience preferred.  
• Must possess a valid Kansas Driver's License
• Must have a high school diploma or GED

Starting salary range will be $17.93- $24.46/hour
