SRO Wayne (Trey) Bland III received the Night Stick Safety Light on behalf of the Coffey County Sheriff's Office this past Friday, May 17th.  This award was presented from KTSRO for participation in the SAFE program this spring. 

The SAFE program is a peer-to peer campaign focusing on seatbelt safety, being alert, and following traffic laws.  Read more about the program on the KTSRO website (Click Here). 

The Night Stick Safety Light will be given to a deputy who worked the SAFE enforcement this year.
